Serving – 3

Ingredients :

For Potato Fingers:

Potato- 3 Cup (cut into thick wedges)

Cornflour- 6 tbsp

Salt- as per taste

Ginger garlic paste- 1 tsp

Black pepper – 1 tsp crushed

Oil for deep frying

For Sauce:

Oil- 1 tbsp

Garlic- 1 tbsp finely chopped

Ginger- 1 tbsp finely chopped

Red chili flakes- 1 tbsp

Green chili- 1 chopped

Onion- 1 small chopped

Honey – 2 Tbsp

Red chili sauce- 2 tsp

Vinegar- 2 tbsp

Soya sauce – 2 tbsp

Tomato sauce- 1 tbsp

Cornflour- 1 tbsp

Water- 1/4 cup

Salt- as per taste

Sesame seeds- 1 tsp roasted

How to make Honey Chilli Potato:

For Potato fingers:

  • Boil enough water in a pan and add potato fingers and little salt.
  • Boil potato fingers for 2-3 mins.
  • Remove potato fingers from water.
  • Add cornflour, salt, ginger garlic paste and crushed black pepper, mix well.
  • Add boiled potato fingers in cornflour mixture and cover all potato fingers properly.
  • Heat oil in and fry the potato fingers until golden brown in color.
  • Drain the potato fingers on kitchen towel to remove excess oil and keep it aside

For Sauce:

  • Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan now add chopped green chili, garlic, ginger and onion. Saute for a min.
  • Add chili flakes, tomato sauce, soya sauce, vinegar and red chili sauce. Mix well and cook for few seconds on medium flame.
  • Mix cornflour in a bowl with water, add this mixture to the pan and mix well.
  • Cook until it turns translucent.
  • Add honey and mix well.
  • Switch off the flame and add salt and fried potato fingers and mix gently.
  • Garnish with roasted sesame seed and serve hot.
